The previous times when we went to Hort Park, the butterfly shed was always close. Then I found out that the butterfly shed was open on the last Saturday of each month. So Blackhole, KKH and I decided to go there to take a look. The butterfly shed was quite small so only a limited number of people could be inside at one time. We waited for a while and then it’s our turn.
There were other people queuing up to enter the shed so we couldn’t stay for long. There were staff in the shed who kept us moving as well as answer any questions we might have. I saw more butterflies in the shed than in the whole of Hort Park. They were quite skittish and often didn’t stop long enough for us to take photos of them. The butterflies were about the same as those I saw in Changi Airport Terminal 3 but the airport ones were more lethargic.
